What We Fund
|
 |
MAZON
brings over 20 years of effective, strategic
grantmaking to the fight to prevent and alleviate
hunger in the US and abroad.
We award grants totaling over $3 million to more
than 300 organizations each year. Grants are awarded
principally in the United States, though we also
support vital hunger-relief efforts in Israel and
impoverished countries around the world.
MAZON’s funding guidelines detail our five main funding areas.

MAZON's grantmaking is guided by its staff, which has over 35 years of cumulative experience. Grants are made in consultation with an advisory committee of MAZON board members and volunteer professionals who have national reputations and years of experience in the hunger field. MAZON’s national board of directors has final authority for approving all grants.
Please remember: MAZON is not a foundation. We must raise every dollar we grant each year. Therefore, our grantmaking is entirely dependent upon our ability to raise funds. |
